José Canseco is a Cuban-American former professional baseball outfielder and designated hitter. During his 17 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) he proved himself to be one of the top power hitters of his time. In 1986 he won rookie of the year, MVP in 1988 and is a six time All-Star. Jose Canseco has won two World Series championships and in 1988 he became the first player in MLB to hit 40 home runs and steal 40 bases in one season. While his rookie cards don’t fetch too high of value these days, in mint graded condition they can still go for a decent amount.
