Jason Giambi’s baseball career spanned from 1995 to 2014, during which he played for four different teams: the Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, Colorado Rockies, and Cleveland Indians. This 1991 Topps card features Giambi in the Team U.S.A uniform.
His career highlights and awards include the American League MVP in 2000, a five-time All-Star (2000-2004), two-time Silver Slugger Award winner (2001, 2002) and American League Comeback Player of the Year in 2005.
During the BALCO scandal, Giambi testified before a grand jury in 2003 that he had used steroids and human growth hormone. In 2005, he was named the AL Comeback Player of the Year.
