Gregory Alan Maddux is a professional pitcher and played 23 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves primarily. He is known for the following nicknames, “Mad Dog” and “the Professor”. He won the 1995 World Series with the Braves and is the first pitcher in MLB history to win the Cy Young Award four consecutive years in a row.
