Samuel Sosa is a Dominican-American former professional baseball right fielder. He played for 18 seasons primarily for the Chicago Cubs in Major League Baseball (MLB). Sosa first played for the Texas Rangers and Chicago White Sox before joining the Cubs in 1992. During his career with the Cubs, Sosa became regarded as one of the game’s best hitters. He is one of only a few players in MLB history to hit 600 career home runs. In the late 1990’s Sosa was one of a few players trying to close in on the Roger Maris home run record for single season. With the Cubs, Sosa became a 7-time All-Star while holding numerous team records.
Sammy Sosa rookie cards are considered part of the “Junk Wax” era. This has left little value to these baseball cards but in high grade may still provide some value.
