Scott Rolen was an accomplished Major League Baseball (MLB) third baseman who played for 17 seasons and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023.
Rolen played for four teams during his career from 1996 to 2012: Philadelphia Phillies (1996–2002), St. Louis Cardinals (2002–2007), Toronto Blue Jays (2008–2009) and Cincinnati Reds (2009–2012).
Rolen won eight Gold Glove Awards for his defense at third base. He was a seven-time All-Star selection (2002–2006, 2010, 2011). He was the unanimous winner of the National League Rookie of the Year award in 1997 with the Phillies and won one Silver Slugger Award (2002).
Scott Rolen was a World Series champion with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2006. He Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023 on his sixth ballot, receiving 76.3% of the vote.
