Bob Shaw was a professional baseball pitcher who played for 11 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1957 to 1967. A right-handed pitcher, he had a career win-loss record of 108–98 with a 3.52 ERA and 880 strikeouts.
Shaw played for seven different teams: the Detroit Tigers (1957–1958), Chicago White Sox (1958–1961), Kansas City Athletics (1961), Milwaukee Braves (1962–1963), San Francisco Giants (1964–1966), New York Mets (1966–1967), and Chicago Cubs (1967).
He was a National League All-Star in 1962 while pitching for the Milwaukee Braves, a season in which he finished with a 15-9 record and a 2.80 ERA. In 1965, he won 16 games for the San Francisco Giants, including a one-hitter against the Philadelphia Phillies.
After his retirement as a player, Shaw remained involved in baseball as a coach. He was a minor league pitching coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1970 to 1972 and served as a coach for the Milwaukee Brewers in 1973. He also managed the Daytona Beach Dodgers in the minors.
