José Alberto Pujols Alcántara—eternally revered as “The Machine”—stands as one of the most terrifyingly dominant right-handed hitters in the history of Major League Baseball.

Across his first 10 seasons, Pujols batted a combined .331 while averaging 41 home runs, 42 doubles, and 118 RBIs per year.
He is the only player in MLB history to open a career with 10 consecutive seasons of a .300+ batting average, 30+ home runs, and 100+ RBIs.
During this stretch, he captured the 2001 NL Rookie of the Year award, a batting title, and three NL MVP awards (2005, 2008, 2009), finishing as the runner-up an additional four times. He anchored two pennant-winning clubs and a 2006 World Series Championship.
