Chad Mottola is a former professional baseball outfielder who was a well-regarded prospect but had a brief career in the major leagues, playing in parts of five seasons between 1996 and 2006.
He had a very successful minor league career, even being named the International League MVP in 2000. Despite his minor league success, Mottola struggled to find a consistent spot on a major league roster. He played for the Reds, Toronto Blue Jays, Florida Marlins, and Baltimore Orioles.
